Staying around Chinatown is one of the most convenient areas in Kuala Lumpur. There is great access to mass transportation networks, plenty of shopping, and lots of restaurants to choose from. Chinatown is just a short distance from KL Sentral and quite close to KLCC and other major attractions in the city.
On my last visit to Kuala Lumpur I was looking for a place I could stay for a while that was affordable and where I could get some online work done. I booked a single private room at Agosto Inn and was really pleased with the accommodation.
It’s not a fancy place - it’s very basic, but at the same time it’s kept very clean and orderly. My room was small and windowless, but it remained cool from the central air condition unit throughout the day and night. Beds were on the short side, but comfortable. One main highlight of Agosta Inn for me was their fast internet upload speed. It’s really a great place to get internet work accomplished and to upload necessary content.
I would recommend Agosto Inn as a great option for budget accommodation in Kuala Lumpur. It’s in a prime location, the staff are very friendly and willing to offer advice, the internet is great, and the inn is extremely clean.
