The Four Seasons Amman is a beautiful hotel sitting on top of one of the city’s seven hills – and with that viewpoint, the rooms afford views of the white washed houses and businesses around Amman. The hotel was very secure and I felt welcomed the moment I arrived. The shared spaces are open and very pretty with fresh flowers tables, and the waiters were very attentive during my meals and tea time in the lobby.
Breakfast was a real highlight for me and one of my favorite parts (the super-fast internet came in second). The buffet style setup had a range of local flavors and dishes, as well as some international standbys breakfast foods like fruit and yogurt. The breakfast servers indulged all of my questions about the typical Jordanian foods on offer, and I was just generally pleased by how friendly and attentive everyone was. English was spoken by every member of the staff (in addition to Arabic), which was very helpful as an international guest.
